The Unknown History of Big Sized Tshirts

When people decide to wear their big sized tee shirts, many do not know about the entire history about them and how they almost became extinct.
The plus sized tshirts that you see people wearing now are nothing in comparison to the extra large tees that were first discovered. It all started back when dinosaurs roamed the earth and the kill or be killed attitude ruled the earth.
Here is what we know about how this most comfortable way to dress that did not go the way of the dinosaurs.

In 1679 one of the first dinosaur's bones was discovered and those that discovered it also found a piece of cotton material next to the bones. The scientist that found these unique items could not figure out exactly what the cotton material was or represented. It would not be until more than 50 year later that they would actually know what they had. You see they found the skeletal remains of an entire dinosaur and its t-shirt. That is correct - the remains and the t shirt were preserved perfectly in the ice of the Arctic.

One of the scientists knew that this shirt was a significant find but he had wondered how in the world that this dinosaur had gotten a large sized tshirt to begin with.
So he decided to do some research on how the large sized tees came to be. This research would take him from the tee shirts we know today and we wear such as funny tees, vintage tshirts, humorous tee shirts, and cool tee-shirts and take him to when it was wear the plus sized tee or be someone else's dinner. Here is the timeline he found:

Beginning of Time through Ice age
Caveman had learned to negotiate with the dinosaurs for protection. They had found that dinosaurs were less temperamental when their skin was protected from the elements so they would "buy" protection by giving the creatures in their area an xl large tees to wear.
According to cave paintings all was going well and these inventive cavemen were actually beginning to make humorous tee shirts with small paintings on them that resemble what we would now refer to as iron on teeshirts.

Ancient Egypt Through 1679
Somewhere along the way the ancient Egyptians deciphered the cave writings and began to fabricate their own t-shirts. They did not fully grasp the idea however and began to use these shirts only as under garments. They seem to have no sense of humor so they never made funny tees or had and cool tshirts either.

1679 Through Current Time
When the scientist discovered the complete history behind the xl large tees he decided that there was a business opportunity to be had. So he created high class vintage tee shirts that every class of people would want. When his heirs took over they furthered added to the business by incorporating the entire shirt styles from previous heirs and that my friend is how we get our large sized tshirts.
